Agreement on Registration Services for Apsara Conference/Alibaba Cloud Summit
This Agreement is entered into by and between Hangzhou AliCloud Apsara Information Technology Co., Ltd. (“Alibaba Cloud”) and each user registering for this Apsara Conference/Alibaba Cloud Summit (“Event”) (“User” or “you/your”). Please carefully read and fully understand all terms and conditions of this Agreement, especially those highlighted in bold and underlined.
Please make sure that you agree to this Agreement before proceeding with any subsequent operation.
Once you agree to this Agreement and proceed further, you shall not request any invalidation or revocation hereof on the ground that you have not read this Agreement.
I. Service Scope
1. Alibaba Cloud will provide the User with registration services for the Event, and will use its best efforts to meet the User’s registration demand.
2. For the agenda, speaker information and other details of the Event, please refer to the registration webpage of the Event as updated.
II. Rules for Use
1. In using the registration services, the User shall provide accurate, true and complete personal information as required. If any personal information provided by the User is inaccurate or incomplete, the User shall be liable for all consequences caused thereby, including but not limited to the registration for Event being unsuccessful.
2. The User agrees that Alibaba Cloud, its affiliates, the Event holders (as detailed on the registration webpage of the Event) and suppliers of the Event may use the contact information provided or submitted by the User (including but not limited to email address, mobile number and telephone number) to send or recommend to the User the information on the Event, Alibaba Cloud products/services and business of the Event holders.
3. In your use of the services hereunder, you shall: (1) not use the network service system for any illegal purpose; (2) comply with all network protocols, regulations and procedures relating to network services; (3) not use the registration service system for any act that may adversely affect the normal operation of the Internet; (4) not use the registration service system for transmission of any harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, vulgar, obscene or other illegal information; and (5) not use the registration service system for any act detrimental to the Event or Alibaba Cloud.
4. Neither the User nor any speaker of the Event shall use the services hereunder for any production, reproduction, release or dissemination of any contents that are prohibited by laws, regulations or policies, or that will disturb the normal operation of the Event, or infringe upon the legitimate rights or interests of other speakers, buyers or any third party, including without limitation the contents (1) contravening the fundamental principles established by the Constitution; (2) jeopardizing national security, divulging state secret, subverting state power, or sabotaging national unity; (3) damaging national honor or interest; (4) inciting ethnic hatred or discrimination, or undermining ethnic solidarity; (5) violating state religious policies, or propagating evil cults or superstition; (6) spreading rumor, disturbing public order, or sabotaging social stability; (7) spreading obscenity, eroticism, gambling, violence, murder or terrorism, or instigating crime; (8) insulting or defaming others, or infringing upon the legitimate rights or interests of others; (9) containing other information prohibited by laws, regulations or policies; and (10) containing sexuality or sexual connotations, disturbing messages, spams or other information in violation of public order and good customs, whether in the profile picture, name, description, domain name introduction, comment or bullet comment, whether in text, voice, image, video, graphic or any other forms.
5. Neither the User nor any speaker of the Event shall use the services hereunder to: (1) submit or disseminate false information, or pretend to be or misuse the name of others; (2) force or induce other speakers to follow or click on webpage links or to share information; (3) make up facts or conceal the truth to mislead or deceive others; (4) infringe upon others’ right to reputation, portrait, intellectual property, trade secret or personal privacy or other legitimate rights; (5) use plug-ins, external plug-ins or other third-party tools or services for access to the services and relevant system hereunder without Alibaba Cloud’s written consent; (6) commit any illegal or criminal activities; or (7) commit any other acts in violation of laws or regulations, infringing upon the legitimate rights or interests of other speakers or third parties, disturbing the normal operation of the Event, or beyond Alibaba Cloud’s express authorization.
6. You understand and agree that any content delivered by a speaker only represents his/her own view, rather than the position of the Event. If you find any contravention of this Agreement by any speaker, please lodge a complaint to Alibaba Cloud. Upon verification, Alibaba Cloud will promptly remove the relevant content and take other reasonable measures.
7. To ensure the legitimate rights and interests of all Users, Alibaba Cloud reserves the right to disqualify any abnormal registrant from registering for the Event.
8. Without Alibaba Cloud’s authorization, no one may mirror the website of the services hereunder.
9. The registration services hereunder are provided by Alibaba Cloud on an “as-is” and “with current functions” basis. Alibaba Cloud does not guarantee that the registration services will be without interruption and error. You agree to use the registration services on an “as-is” and “with current functions” basis at your own risks.
10. If the Event is canceled or postponed, relevant information will be published on the Event registration webpage, where you shall check the actual schedule and agenda of the Event; Alibaba Cloud and the Event holders will not be liable for paying any compensation or damages for such cancellation or postponement.
11. If you bring a minor to the Event with the consent of the onsite organizer of the Event, you agree and undertake that:
(1) you are the legal guardian of such minor, and you will comply with state laws and regulations and the requirements of the Event holders and onsite organizer;
(2) you will accompany and take good care of the minor throughout the whole process to avoid potential dangers when he/she is left unattended;
(3) you will ensure that the minor is healthy and without discomfort, injury, pain or other illness that may affect his/her participation in the Event. You agree to be liable for any injury to the minor arising from or during the Event, and for any personal injury or property damage caused by the minor to a third party; and
(4) in case of any personal injury or property damage to the minor caused by any unpredictable and insurmountable event such as accident, drastic change in weather or acute illness, the Event holders and onsite organizer will provide relief on the principle of humanitarianism and shall not be held liable therefor.
12. You agree to attend the Event in accordance with the Event-related instructions and guidelines published on the official website of the Event, including without limitation those on check-in and access. Further, you agree to follow the instructions and requirements of the Event holders at the scene.
III. Protection and Use of Data
1. Alibaba Cloud attaches great importance to the protection of your personal information. By using the registration services hereunder, you agree that Alibaba Cloud will collect, use, share, store and protect your personal information in accordance with the 《Alibaba Cloud Legal Notice and Privacy Policy》 published on the official website of Alibaba Cloud. Such personal information shall include without limitation the number of Users participating in the Event, as well as the time of participation, telephone number, email address, ID number, nationality, employer, industry, title and employer size of each User.
2. For better service provision in respect of the Event, you agree to share, through Alibaba Cloud, the personal information submitted by you on the registration webpage with Alibaba Cloud’s affiliates, Event holders and suppliers of the Event for notification or recommendation of information on the Event arrangements, the Event holders’ services/products that you may be interested in, and the services and matters related to the Event, for check-in verification and operations at the Event, or for any other purposes. In addition, you agree to share such personal information with DingTalk for online issuance of DingTalk badge.
3. If you allow any exhibitor to scan your ID/QR code with a PDA scanner at the Event, you shall be deemed to have permitted the exhibitor to collect your contact information, in which case, the organizing committee will provide the name, title, employer, mobile number and email address submitted by you in the registration to the exhibitor.
4. You agree that Alibaba Cloud and the Event holders may take photos or videos during the Event and use such materials for advertising and publicity purposes.
IV. Compensation
1. If you cause any losses to Alibaba Cloud or any third party due to any violation of applicable laws or regulations or any breach hereof, you agree to be liable for compensating such losses.
V. Miscellaneous
1. Alibaba Cloud shall have the right to suspend or terminate its provision of the registration services hereunder to you at any time without notice, if:
(1) the personal information provided by you is inaccurate, untrue or incomplete; or
(2) you have breached the rules for use set forth herein.
2. Alibaba Cloud shall have the right to adjust and modify this Agreement based on its business development.
3. The conclusion, performance, interpretation and dispute resolution of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. The parties shall endeavor to resolve any dispute arising from or in connection with the content or performance hereof through friendly consultations. If such consultations fail, either party may bring litigation before the People’s Court of Yuhang District, Hangzhou or a competent people’s court at a higher level.

You hereby further acknowledge that you have fully read and understood the provisions of this Agreement, and will voluntarily proceed with subsequent operations and be bound by the provisions hereof.
