Initial Keyword Advertising Credit Terms of Use

In the event where you purchase either the (a) basic pro type of the Gold Supplier Package (“Basic Pro Gold Supplier Package”); (2) the standard type of the Gold Supplier Package (“Standard Gold Supplier Package”); or (3) the premium type of the Gold Supplier Package (“Premium Gold Supplier Package”), your package will include an initial keyword advertising credit worth USD500, USD1,000 or USD3,000, respectively ("Initial Keyword Advertising Credit"), subject to the following terms and conditions.

1.             Unless otherwise provided hereunder, the use of the Initial Keyword Advertising Credit shall be subject to the Smart Marketing Campaign Terms and Conditions (“Smart Marketing Campaign T&Cs”). All capitalized words and phrases which are not otherwise defined hereunder shall have the meaning given to them in the Smart Marketing Campaign T&Cs. Please refer to the Smart Marketing Campaign T&Cs or check with Alibaba.com and/or its authorized resellers if you have any questions.

2.                Upon (a) being successfully onboarded as a new GGS Member after purchasing either a Standard Gold Supplier Package or Premium Gold Supplier Package (“New GGS Member”); or (b) full payment by an existing GGS Member for its renewal by purchasing either a Standard Gold Supplier Package or Premium Gold Supplier Package (“Existing GGS Member”), the entire value of the Initial Keyword Advertising Credit included therein will: (a) automatically be credited to your Keyword Advertising Fund Account; and (b) automatically be used as your first Spending Budget for a Smart Marketing Campaign (notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the Smart Marketing Campaign T&Cs).

3.            If you are a New GGS Member or an Existing GGS Member, the Initial Keyword Advertising Credit will automatically be used as part of your Spending Budget and the Smart Marketing Campaign will automatically commence:

(a)              if within the first sixty (60) days after your Keyword Advertising Fund Account has been credited, the total number of products you and/or your authorized third party service provider(s) listed on the Alibaba.com Website is fifty (50) or more, on the first day when the number of product listings has achieved fifty (50) products; or

(b)            if within the sixty (60) days there is more than one (1) but less than fifty (50) products listed by you and/or your authorized third party service provider(s) on the Alibaba.com Website, on the 61^st day after your Keyword Advertising Fund Account has been credited.

4.             Notwithstanding the above, any New GGS Member and Existing GGS Member may however choose to commence the Smart Marketing Campaign at any time (provided that there is at least one (1) product listed on the Alibaba.com Website) by activating it manually from their profile.

5.            For the avoidance of doubt, in the event where there is no product listed on your profile on the Alibaba.com Website after the first sixty (60) days from when the Initial Keyword Advertising Credit has been credited into your Keyword Advertising Fund Account, the Smart Marketing Campaign will not be able to commence automatically for any New GGS Member or Existing GGS Member. In such case, in order to initiate a Smart Marketing Campaign, please refer to the Smart Marketing Campaign T&Cs.

6.              If you purchase a Basic Pro Gold Supplier Package, you may choose to use the Initial Keyword Advertising Credit either for a Smart Marketing Campaign or Keyword Advertising service.

7.               Alibaba.com reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions upon notice. In the event of any dispute, Alibaba.com shall have the final right of interpretation.
