VMate offers a variety of measures to protect your privacy when you use VMate Services, including VMate Sites, VMate Software, and/or other VMate Services. VMate has created this Policy to explain our privacy practices so you will understand what information is collected, how it is used, and your rights to your information.
Any references in this Policy to "VMate", "we", "our", "us" etc. will be interpreted as a reference to VMate. Whether you are new to VMate or a long-time user, please do take the time to get to know our practices, and if you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
Please be aware that VMate is not directed to children, and you may not use VMate if you are under the age of 13. You must also be old enough to consent to the processing of your personal data in your country (in some countries we may allow your parent or guardian to do so on your behalf).

creating your VMate Account (including login with other third party accounts); and/or
providing feedback or getting contact to us; and/or
participating in surveys; and/or
getting prizes when you participate in VMate activities and win,
you may be required to provide information such as
User Names, Password, Gender, Profile photo, Date of Birth, Region; and/or
Phone Number, Email Address; and/or
name, address, bank information, etc.
It is your choice whether to send your personal information to us. Yet in some cases, if the information provided is incomplete or inaccurate we may not be able to offer Services accordingly.
Also, when you use VMate Services, VMate will have access to the information you post to VMate including, but not limited to, threads and comments you post in forums.

providing you with basic application functionality and better service;
providing you with location-based services, such as personalized multi-language content;
improving your experience during shooting and browsing, and helping you improve the quality of your video;
Recommending users or videos that you might be interested in;
To provide marketing information and surveys to you;
To comply with any legal obligation that we have, in connection with any legal proceedings, or to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights.
we may collect information from you, including but not limited to:
Software Information, such as Application Version, System Version and application list;
Hardware Information, such as IMEI, model info, manufacturer;
Network Information, such as IP address, Mobile Network Operator, Network Status;
Setting and Usage, such as language preference, time and time zone, errors and reports, browsing history, settings, typing in the URL bar;
Location, with your permission;
Gyroscope sensor data during shooting;
Your phone and social network contacts, with your permission.

We may obtain information about you from business partners, contractors, and other third parties and combine it with the information we collect. For example, you may log in with your Facebook or Google log in information. Under these circumstances and if you have given your consent, we may have access to your profile information stored on the Facebook and/or Google (details please refer to the Authorization Page).
When you provide information to us, you agree to provide accurate information only and agree that we may assume its accuracy and rely on it.

We reserve the right but do not undertake a duty, to notify you of court orders, subpoenas or other legal processes if allowed. If you do not want us to respond to legal process compelling us to disclose your information, you need to obtain a valid order permitting us to refuse to disclose it and serve the order on us at least 3 business days before the response deadline.
When we believe disclosure is appropriate in connection with efforts to investigate, prevent, or take other action regarding illegal activity, suspected fraud or other wrongdoing; to protect and defend the rights, property or safety of our company, our users, our employees, or others; to comply with applicable law or cooperate with law enforcement, or to enforce the Site terms and conditions or other agreements or policies.

Data Retention, Location and Security
In some cases, rather than provide a way to delete data, we store it for a predetermined period of time. For each type of data, we set retention time frames based on the reason for its collection. We will securely erase your information in advance of these deadlines if we decide that we no longer need it.
We maintain servers around the world, the data that we collect from you may be transferred to and stored at, a destination outside of the country where you live. It may also be processed by staff who work for us or one of our suppliers. By using the VMate Services, you consent to your personal data being transferred outside of the country where you live.
VMate is committed to protecting the security of your information. We use a variety of industry-standard security technologies and procedures to help protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. VMate has strict restrictions on access to user data. Yet, no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while VMate uses reasonable efforts to protect your information, VMate cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Accessing, Updating or Removing your Information
You can access, update or change the information from the account you created. When changing or updating the information you provided, you may be required to verify your identity first. Please note that we may be required by law to store the information we collect, even after you have terminated your use of VMate.
For technical reasons, it may be impossible for us to determine whether you have stopped using VMate. For mobile applications, it may also be impossible for VMate to determine whether you have deleted the application. In such cases, we reserve the right to remove, clearance or freeze your account and the information you have provided to us if you have not used the Services for an extended period of time.
